Bones In Jars also offers a Menu of Individual Classes!
If you see a class you’re interested in but can’t make it, have a special bug you’ve been saving to pin but want guidance, or want to learn another skill you see products of in the shop, let us know! For a flat fee + supplies, we are more than happy to give you a place to learn & someone to learn from!

Reccurring Classes
Bones In Jars is perhaps best known for Bug Class! Officially titled: Insect Pinning & Display Class.
Bug Class is offered two weekend days every month, so if you can’t make it to one, fear not! There will be more.

Fon Du Lac Pride Picnic - Vendor Event
Bones In Jars will be closed for The Fon Du Lac Pride Picnic! The event runs from 1:00 - 8:00 PM at Lakeside Park, Fon Du Lac WI. Learn More Here!
Wesley will be at a booth vending from 12:30 - 7:00 PM!
Beaver Dam Pride!
Bones In Jars will be closed for Beaver Dam Area Pride! The event runs from 12:00 - 6:00 PM in downtown Beaver Dam, WI around and at Ooga Brewery. Learn More Here!
Wesley will be at a booth offering free face painting from 12:00 - 4:00 PM as well as selling Bones In Jars items!

Bones In Jars will be closed so we can be a vendor at the Day In The Park Craft Fair! This will be our 3rd time vending there!

This event is offered twice on separate days (Saturday July 19th & Sunday July 20th), both 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM in the Bones In Jars Storefront-Studio. Please make sure to select the desired date upon purchase!

$25 Per Person (Bones In Jars does absorb fees but the price will be slightly more after tax).
Each participant will receive 1 bug for pinning, one small piece of foam for pinning on, one display, and various mosses to choose from for decorating.
Each participant will get to keep the display they create, but the supplies (pins not still in the bug, forceps, & glue) used for the project must remain at Bones In Jars.
All ages are welcome, but an adult must accompany those 10 and under.

Intro To Zines
Zines are many things, but a loose description of them would be DIY collage magazines! They can have themes, original art, newspaper clippings, trash, and more! If you’re interested in learning about the process and making your own, check out this class!
$25 per person (Bones In Jars does absorb fees but the price will be slightly more after tax).
Each participant will receive 2 sheets of printer paper, 1 gluestick, 1 pair of scissors, & access to an amount of collage supplies & drawing materials!
Each participant will get to keep zines they create, but the supplies (scissors, gluesticks, collage materials, etc) used for the project must remain at Bones In Jars.
All ages are welcome, but an adult must accompany those 10 and under.

World Collage Day Class
If you’ve been to Bones In Jars, you’ve seen the little collage tvs! A favorite of many, now you have the opportunity to make one yourself! Come celebrate World Collage Day at Bones In Jars with the creator of these little designs, Wesley’s ( the owner of Bones In Jars) very cool mom!
This event is for Saturday, May 10th, 12:00 - 2:00 PM in the Bones In Jars Storefront-Studio.

Each participant will receive 1-2 small 3d printed tvs, 1-2 wooden cutouts to do their collages on, and a selection of collage materials to sift through

Description:
If you’ve enjoyed Bug Pinning & Display Classes or you want to make a bug display without the pinning, this is the class for you! Create a unique ornament perfect for your strange and unusual Christmas tree, or just to display year-round! Utilize Moss, bugs, and paint pens to customize one insect ornament!
This event is offered twice on separate days (Saturday the 14th & Sunday the 15th), both 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM in the Bones In Jars Storefront-Studio. Please make sure to select the desired date upon purchase!

Get ready to Shop Small! Bones In Jars is participating in The Chamber’s “Get Caught Shopping Small” event where by visiting participating businesses, you have a chance of being given a free item by the Chamber Elves!
Owl Pellet Class
Owl Pellet Dissection Class
Date: Saturday Nov 23rd & Sunday Nov 24th
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Description: If you’d like to have your very own bones in jars, this new class is the place to be! Come hang out at Bones In Jars, learn how to dissect owl pellets, and take them home for display or your own projects! This event is offered twice on separate days (Saturday the 23rd & Sunday the 24th, both 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM in the Bones In Jars Storefront-Studio. Please make sure to select the desired date upon purchase!
$35 per person (Bones In Jars does absorb fees but the price will be slightly more after tax).
Each participant will receive 1 owl pellet for dissection, a pair of latex gloves, a pair of plastic tweezers, a face mask, and a small jar to take your bones home in!
Each participant will get to keep the bones and the jar theyve been put in, but the supplies (tweezers) used for the project must remain at Bones In Jars.
